It’s hard to picture say the Jewish Caucus going by “Matzah” or the Hispanic Caucus going by “Burrito”, but “Samosa Caucus” captures a regional aspect of South Asia by conjuring a common dish rather than using “Indus”, “Indian”, or “South Asian” all which can be overly specific or exclusive.
I see the world moving to a tripolar model (US, EU, and China). Multinational corporations and other regions will have influence cutting across to the extent they support and cut across these three existing poles. South Asia has been a net exporter of talented individuals to the rest of the world, and exploring the role we have as a group to affect policies, etc
